Edition #41 — The Practice of Social Media in Politics: A Panel Discussion

Our guest panelists — Lauren Hunter, Michael Skinner, Jocasta Boone, Kemi Akapo & Elisha Rubacha — look at the practice of social media as a campaign tool in local politics.  What should candidates be aware of as they plan their social media strategies?  Which platforms are favoured by which segments of the electorate?  And how should candidates present themselves online?  This discussion, recorded at Trent Radio in Peterborough on November 20, focuses on the recent municipal and provincial elections.  We also acknowledge that we are now entering another campaign period, as the federal parties gear up for October 2019.
